Petals, Pop & A Pretty Table

Petals, Pop & A Pretty Table

There’s just something magical about a table that feels like it bloomed just for you. My new floral designs (Ladybird, Floral Fields, and Delicate Florals) each bring their own personality to the party, but they all have one thing in common: they instantly turn an everyday table into something joyful.

Whether you’re hosting a sunny brunch, setting up for a girls’ night, or just treating yourself to a solo moment (glass in hand, of course), these florals make every sip feel like a celebration.

Today, I’m styling my Ladybird glass (aka the ultimate summer day in a cup) with a little casual Italian flair.

This design is pure sunshine. Bright red ladybirds (aka ladybugs!), wild daisies, and soft greenery bring just the right mix of playful and pretty. It reminds me of summer afternoons with my girls, running through the backyard, wildflowers in bloom and bugs buzzing around.

Setting the Table:

Lean into the garden party vibe with easy rustic charm:

  • Red & white gingham tablecloth (hello, picnic chic!)
  • Rattan chargers + white plates
  • Red linen napkins
  • Mason jars filled with wildflowers—or use loose flowers to build a runner down the center
  • Soft candlelight with votives or tea lights
  • Bonus: add some ladybug napkin rings or scatter a few on-theme details for extra fun

Most of these things you might already have, but if not, they’re easy to find at places like HomeGoods, World Market, or Amazon.

The Menu: Fresh, Simple, and So Pretty

You don’t need a complicated menu to impress—especially when the table’s doing half the work! Keep the food simple, rustic, and colorful:

  • Garden Salad – tomatoes, burrata, basil, olive oil, balsamic
  • Fettuccine Primavera – light, veggie-packed, and perfect for a big bowl moment
  • Strawberry Cheesecake – delicious, sweet and summer-y fresh

Pair with an easy Italian red like a Primitivo or Chianti and voilà—you’ve got a summer table that’s full of charm, color, and good vibes. If you’re feeling something with a little more Lolita flair…

Ladybird Punch

This delicious cocktail is light and refreshing, perfect for summer hosting. I’ve converted my classic single serve recipe to serve 8 so get that punch bowl and let’s get mixing!

  • 8oz Raspberry Vodka
  • 8oz Tequila
  • 8oz Lemon Lime Soda
  • 48oz Pinot Grigio

Cheers to a little whimsy, a lot of flowers, and a table that’s as joyful as the glass in your hand!
