Mixology Monday: Peek-A-Booz
This Mixology Monday, I brought my Peek-A-Booz Stemless Wine Glass to the party, and trust me, she did NOT come to behave!! With ghosts peeking out to play, jack-o-lanterns bringing a little extra charm, and plenty of sparkle. This little mischief-maker deserves a cocktail with just as much personality, let’s get mixing!
Today I wanted something that tasted like fall with a fabulous little kick. Warm apple and rosemary start things off cozy, then tart lemon, sweet honey, cinnamon bourbon, and a splash of bubbly club soda join the party.
The result? A crisp, warmly spiced cocktail that’s ready for your next hauntingly good Happy Hour!
Lolita’s BOO-zy Apple Fizz | A Six Serving Batch Recipe
- 3 Cups Apple Juice
- 6 Fresh Rosemary Sprigs
- 6 tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 6 tbsp. Honey
- 6 oz. Cinnamon Bourbon
- 18 oz. Club Soda or Ginger Ale
- Cinnamon sticks or additional rosemary sprigs, for garnish.
- Ice
Add the apple juice and rosemary to a saucepan and bring to a medium heat. Let the rosemary steep for 10 minutes so all that woodsy fall flavor can work its magic.
After 10 minutes is up, strain out the rosemary and let the apple juice mixture cool.
Once cooled, mix in the lemon juice, honey, and cinnamon bourbon to complete your BOO-zy concentrate. Store chilled in a glass container or serve immediately.
