Brunch With Your Besties: A Galentine’s Day Guide
Galentine’s Day is my favorite kind of holiday. It’s all about friendship. No pressure. No rules. Just your girls, a pretty table, and drinks poured before noon. Because brunch. Obviously.
This year, Galentine’s Day lands on a Saturday, which makes it a full yes for daytime hosting. Sunlight pouring in. Music playing. Everyone talking at once. Cocktails that totally count as breakfast-adjacent?! I’m already in.
When I host Galentine’s, I keep one thing in mind. If the vibe is right, everything else follows!
Let the Glasses Steal the Show
The glasses always come first.
This year, my inspiration started with two favorites. Best Friend Ever, covered in yellow roses and daisies, brings instant sunshine to the table. Yellow roses are a symbol of friendship and happiness, which makes this glass feel like Galentine’s Day in glass form. Bright. Cheerful. Made for the friends who are always by your side.
Then there’s Strawberry Wine. Sweet, playful, and full of personality. Strawberries are a symbol of love and happiness, which makes this glass perfect for celebrating friendships that feel warm, fun, and just a little flirty.
Creating a Color Story
With the glasses leading the way, the color palette practically plans itself.
Yellow and red. Bright. Bold. Happy. And yes… very Taylor-coded!! Think friendship bracelets, inside jokes, and colors that feel meaningful instead of random. Yellow brings joy and warmth. Red adds love, confidence, and just enough drama to keep things fun. Together, they create a table that feels celebratory before the first sip even happens.
I pull those colors into linens, florals, napkins, and little details around the table. Don’t overthink it. Galentine’s brunch should feel collected, not staged.

Keep the Drinks Easy and Fun
You don’t need a full bar for Galentine’s Day. You just need a few great ideas.
I like planning a small drink menu inspired by my favorite glasses and flavors. Bright citrus moments. Sweet strawberry sips. Something bubbly. And one tiny indulgence for the group toast.
Set the menu near the glasses and let everyone choose their vibe. No rules. Just pours!!
Add a Little Game Night Energy
Every Galentine’s brunch needs one more thing. Something fun!
I love adding a game to the table, and Sip or Spill is perfect for this kind of day. You draw a card and follow the directions. Simple. Dangerous. Hilarious. Set it near the drinks and let it happen naturally. Pull a card when the conversation slows. Play a few rounds between refills. This is where memories get made!
No Rules. Just Fun.
Galentine’s Day is a judgment-free zone. Another cocktail? Sure. A second shot? Why not.
Since it’s a Saturday, let brunch turn into whatever comes next. Shopping. Wandering. Sitting around talking until the glasses are empty. Galentine’s doesn’t need to be perfect. It just needs good friends, happy colors, and something pretty to sip from.
XOXO
